For the love of theatre. Yeah well, corny as it may sound, theatre does make me happy. So, after writing for several publications and hacking through my copies to make them fit into the tiny space provided for theatre (read:culture) I’ve decided to unleash my stories on Theatre Adda. I’d ideally love to break away from the format of theatre writing that we’re used to and work with multimedia since the Internet is so awesome and theatrewallas should abuse it too cos, well, it’s free! — Aditi Sharma.

As the tagline says, the blog intends to share stories from the stage. The stage would usually be located in Mumbai, like me, but the grand plan does include writing about theatre from all over India since a blog can be read anywhere. So, if you have a new play coming up and want it featured here, liked a particular actor (male/female) and want to know more about him/her, loved a thought put forward by the playwright-director and want to share it or just want to know if there’s a play that you should or should not watch, Theatre Adda ought to be able to help you.
